WAR (Sox vs. Cubs)

On May 20th we got to see an amazing battle between these two rivalry teams with our own two eyes. And what a battle it was. In the middle of the 2nd inning a fight broke out between the two teams(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l_1jv3D9cg&search=sox%20and%20cubs%20brawl) (CLICK LINK TO SEE FIGHT) But the game must go on. The Chicago White Sox ended up winning the game 7-0 taking 2 games out of 3 from the Chicago Cubs. As you can see from the pictures, Kathya is the only Cubs fan.Its too bad she isn't a Sox fan, but I guess it makes it a little interesting between the two of us.

Proposal Night

Well that night was a very special night for the two of us. The date was March 6,2006. Which is also Kathya's Birthday. The night started off at Argo High School's Auditorium(The school was closed that day and the dean of the school told security to let me in)." The reason I picked that to be the place where I proposed was because that was the very first place I ever seen Kathya, when she was performing in a variety show."(Brandon) Kathya thought she was meeting me there because I was helping a friend's dad move some thing because he works at Argo. Once she got to Argo I asked her to come in so she can help me carrier some things to the car. Once she walked in I played one of our songs(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bg0F_nas64&search=nick%20lachey-) (Click Link and you will see and hear the song)Then I got on one knee and started to say those wonderful words,"Kathya will you marry me" But I put a little twist on it. I said it in Spanish."Kathya, Te quires cosar con migo." At this point my heart was pounding, and my hands were shaking. But once I heard the words come out of her mouth,"Yes I will"I felt this burst of joy run throughout my body. From there we left the school and I suprised her with a Limo that was waiting for us infront of the school.Which we took down town to an Italian resturaunt called Maggiano's Little Italy(http://www.maggianos.com/locations/). A lot of you, probably think we are crazy for deciding to get married at such a young age. But we think you are crazy for thinking that. I guess its because we know how we feel about each other, and theres not a person on this planet that will change our minds. All we ask is for your love and support.

Last night, May 23 was Kathya's last day as an Argo High School Student. And her class went out with a bang. They got to have there graduation is our new Chicago Fire(Professional Soccer Team) stadium, located in Bridgeview,IL. It was so much better then when I graduated. They had fire works, and around the stadium on a strech screen it showed Congratulations Argo class of 2006. Then their was a huge screen infront of the stage that was showing thanks to Argo's Staff and the Mayor of Bridgeview. It even made the Daily Southtown Newspaper http://www.dailysouthtown.com/southtown/dsnews/242abn5.htm

This years prom was on May 19, 2006 at the Chateau Del Mar http://www.chateaudelmar.com/ChateauPhotos.html on 95th street in Hickory Hills,Illinois. As you can tell our theme colors were black ans silver. The night was very exciting a lot of pictures, a lot laughs, and A LOT I mean A LOT of dancing.

The beginning

Our love we believe was destiny. The two of us never said more then hi to eachother through out the years we were in high school together. Until one day two of our friends helped us out a little bit. I (Brandon) have never been one to talk to someone I've never talked to before. I guess you would say I'm pretty shy.Which everyone that knows me would know that.Well one day one of my friends gave me Kathya's phone number. I was so nervous because I did not know what I would say to this girl. So many thoughts were going through my head. Would she think I'm a weirdo for calling her? What if she didn't pick up? Should I call, or shouldn't I? So I finally built up the courage and called. And guess What she picked up. I (Kathya) normally don't pick up numbers I don't know but for some reason I picked up that time. And from that day on our lifes changed dramatically.
